Description

A commemorative album from Szczawnica and Pieniny. Made in the interwar period by the photo studio FOTO-TATRY, operating at that time in Szczawnica.

The souvenir is small - 3x4 cm and consists of 21 mini-photos framed in ... snake skin. In this tiny album, we can see Szczawnica from before World War II: a general view of the health resort as well as individual buildings such as: Dworzec Gościnny, Zakładowa Restaurant "Malinowa", or the now non-existent Rotunda in Park Górny; the recently completed building of the Inhalatorium and the interior of a modern, for those times, mineral water pump room on Plac Dietla. In the so-called The spread also includes views of the characteristic peaks and places in the vicinity of Szczawnica. And so we can see grazing geese against the background of the unforested Bryjarki mountain, the Dunajec gorge, the castles in Czorsztyn and Niedzica, the Homole ravine and the waterfall on Sewerynówka, as well as the charming "Garden of St. Kinga” and the interior of the Pieniny Hermitage.
