Independence Day 2025

On November 11th, we celebrated Independence Day in droves. Entire families flocked to the Galician Town to welcome Marshal Piłsudski at the head of his cavalry unit, witness military displays, and sing patriotic songs together. The event also included the making of red and white cotillions, a horse drill, and a swordsmanship demonstration. Members of the "GORLICE 1915" Historical Reenactment Group, the Historical Reenactment Association of the 1st Podhale Riflemen Regiment of the Home Army from Słopnice, and the Stara Cegielnia Gładyszów Equestrian Association performed. Students from the Catholic Private Secondary Music School in Nowy Sącz sang patriotic songs. The Brass Band from Kamionka Wielka played.
