Celebration of National Independence Day / November 11, 2024

On November 11, 2024, the inhabitants of Nowy Sącz met in the Galician Town to celebrate National Independence Day. The large crowd sang patriotic songs together with the "Lachy" Regional Song and Dance Ensemble, and the Brass Band from Mystków also performed a patriotic repertoire. There was also a weapons show, historical lectures and art classes for children. Everyone could make a red and white cotillion themselves. The most emotional event was a horse drill show performed by members of the Stara Cegielnia Gładyszów Equestrian Association. The culminating point was the staging of the arrival of Marshal Józef Piłsudski accompanied by legionnaires.
