65 years of the Pieniny Museum

The film tells the story of how the Pieniny Museum in Szlachtowa was created and operates. Barbara Węglarz, the manager of the Museum, talks colorfully about people who ambitiously collected exhibits and created exhibitions, wanting to preserve the material and intangible heritage of the Pieniny highlanders and Ruthenians, as well as knowledge about the Szczawnica health resort, for future generations. After leaving the center of Szczawnica, the Pieniny Museum moved to Szlachtowa, where it has appropriate conditions for the collected monuments and a rich archive, as well as for conducting exhibition and educational activities.
