Project "Museum meetings with culture and tradition for everyone"
THE REGIONAL MUSEUM IN NOWY SĄCZ is implementing a grant project entitled "Museum meetings with culture and tradition for everyone" as part of the "Culture without barriers" project, implemented by the State Fund for Rehabilitation of the Disabled under Measure 4.3 of the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020.
The amount of the grant - PLN 243,561.86
The grant is financed from the following sources:
from European funds: PLN 229,654.48, which is 94.29% of the entrusted grant
from national co-financing: PLN 13,907.38, which is 5.71% of the amount of the awarded grant
Start date of the project - July 1, 2022
Project completion date - May 31, 2023.
The project aims to:
Creation of conditions and tools enabling participation in the program offer proposed so far by the Museum and expanding it with elements tailored to the needs of OzN recipient groups: hearing, sight, intellectual, people on the autism spectrum, seniors and families with children.
Creation of sightseeing paths around the permanent exhibitions in 3 branches, equipped with copies of exhibits, tablets for uploading translations in PJM and ETR texts as well as high-resolution photos, recorded videos posted on the Museum's website presenting SPE and MG exhibitions translated in PJM, (SPE, MG ,GG)
Arrangement of temporary exhibitions taking into account the needs of the above-mentioned recipients in mobile walls, glass showcases, magnifying glasses, PJM translations during vernissages and graphic materials,
Implementation of museum workshops on Nowy Sącz architects and pottery using available educational materials
Designing and creating a new unique/dedicated website of the Museum in accordance with the WCAG guidelines, adapted to the needs of OzN. Fulfillment of these objectives will make the museum's offer more attractive and accessible to a larger number of recipients.
