Pieniny ethnography

A series of classes aimed at presenting everyday life in the village of Pieniny - bringing you closer the work of a shepherd and raftsman as well as craftsmen performing the so-called "disappearing professions" embroiderer, blacksmith, tinker, carpenter, etc. Participants will be able to find out what elements the highlander costume from Pieniny consists of and how it differs from costumes other highlanders. They will have the opportunity to get to know the neighboring ethnographic groups with the Szczawnica highlanders. Based on museum exhibits and multimedia presentations students will be able to learn how traditional baking was made bread, how oscypek or bundz - sheep's cheeses - are made.
