The aim of the project is to increase social accessibility to the unique open-air museum (skansen-type) trail of the Polish–Slovak borderland for various target groups, including people with special needs, supporting the development of culture and tourism.

The specific objectives correspond to the dimensions of accessibility (physical, digital, and information-communication) and focus on improving visitor services using the joint cultural offer of museums in the Polish–Slovak borderland, creating contemporary service standards, increasing the presence of borderland folk culture—both historical and living—in the digital world through modern digital technologies, and its joint promotion.

Activities implemented under the project:
• construction/reconstruction of buildings serving as visitor service points (so-called “first contact points”), together with technical infrastructure and site development;
• training to improve staff qualifications in the areas of digital skills and accessibility;
• equipping spaces within buildings serving as visitor service points;
• digitisation of unique objects representative of traditional folk crafts and their presentation on a joint website;
• events promoting the cultural heritage of the Polish–Slovak borderland, including:
• joint creative/workshop spaces, a joint open-air exhibition, a conference in the context of the New European Bauhaus idea, exhibition stands presenting the work of Polish and Slovak folk artists, and documentary-style promotional films about local craftsmen.

Activities implemented by the Sądecka Land Museum:
• construction of a building with a volume of approx. 1,800 m³, designed in a simple, harmonious architectural form naturally integrated into the open-air museum landscape. The single-storey building will have a multifunctional role and will include, among others, an information area with sanitary facilities, presentation and exhibition spaces, and technical and administrative rooms;
• equipping the building, including presentation and exhibition areas;
• launch of exhibition stations at “first contact points” where visitors encounter the museums’ exhibition spaces, presenting folk crafts created by local artists from Poland and Slovakia;
• production of documentary films promoting local craftsmen from partner regions, each dedicated to a different area of folk craft and folk art;
• project communication aimed at ensuring wide dissemination of information about the support obtained from the Interreg Poland–Slovakia Programme 2021–2027, as well as effective communication among partners and with target groups. These activities will be carried out via partners’ websites and social media, a dedicated project website, online information campaigns, working meetings, and appropriate signage of infrastructure and cultural events.
