Opening of the exhibition "An Adventure with Art – Museum Inspirations"
On September 18, 2026, the Maria Ritter Gallery and Historic Burgher Interiors in Nowy Sącz hosted the awards ceremony for the children’s and youth art competition, as well as the opening of the post-competition exhibition titled "An Adventure with Art – Museum Inspirations."
During the event, prizes and distinctions were awarded to the winners, while participants and invited guests had their first opportunity to view the works of these talented young artists on display.
A special highlight of the event was a tribute to Józef Pogwizd—a visual artist and a great friend to both young people and the Nowy Sącz Museum; he had been associated with this artistic-educational project for 35 years and would evaluate the competition entries with his characteristic kindness. This year’s edition was dedicated to his memory.
We extend our sincere thanks to all the competition participants, winners, teachers, supervisors, and everyone involved in bringing this unique project to life.
