Nowy Sącz during World War II

During the classes, the following issues will be discussed: Sądecczyzna and Poland against the background of the situation in Europe in 1939, the outbreak of war and military operations in the Nowy Sącz region – September 1939, the beginning of the German occupation (new administration, German terror, persecution of the intelligentsia, extermination of the Jewish population), liberation, loss balance. The lesson is based on permanent historical exhibitions and multimedia presentation and video.
