Slideshow - mysterious journeys. Andrzej Meller.

The guest of this year's edition of the series will be ANDRZEJ MELLER, whose lecture will be devoted to travels to countries where armed conflicts have taken place and are still taking place. In addition to memories about the landscapes, beauty and culture of the visited regions of the world, we will hear about the real problems of staying in countries affected by war.
Andrzej Meller - traveler, journalist, war correspondent and writer. He spent many years in Asia, where he prepared reports for the Polish media. He was a regular contributor to Tygodnik Powszechny, for which he reported on the war in Georgia, Afghanistan and Libya. His publications can be found, among others: in National Geographic Polska and Kontynenty magazines. In 2015, he was the presenter of the documentary series Prepersi - ready for anything, broadcast on Fokus TV. The fruit of his reporting journeys are books titled: "Mirage. Three years in Asia", "Zenga, zenga, or how rats ate the king of Africa" ​​about the civil war in Libya, "Hello, there are no hyenas. Vietnam like you don't know" and written together with his wife "Kamper do Kabul".

Tickets cost PLN 10 and are available at the Galician Town box office.
