Project "Museum Stories"
The "Museum Stories" project is addressed to people with intellectual, visual and hearing disabilities, people on the autism spectrum and families with children. As part of the project, activities in the field of cultural education and art therapy will be carried out, presenting topics related to the presented museum exhibitions in a way accessible to people with disabilities and families with children at the Nikifor Museum in Krynica, the Maria Ritter Gallery and Stry Wnętrz Mieszczanskie and in the Galician Town.
The main goal of the project is to find and create universal solutions that will facilitate the reception of the discussed issues for people with disabilities, families with children, children and seniors.
The project includes preparation of:
- 3 educational paths around the branches of the Nikifor Museum, the Maria Ritter Gallery, the Old Town Interiors and the Galician Town
- 2 available guides to museum exhibitions containing a therapeutic aspect for the Nikifor Museum in Krynica Zdrój and the Maria Ritter Gallery and Stare Wnętrz Mieszczańskie
- preparation of available educational materials,
- implementation of three new topics of therapeutic educational classes,
- purchase of tactile graphics and sensory materials that complement the created sightseeing paths.
The project will involve people with disabilities, artists, craftsmen and therapists who will help choose appropriate tools to facilitate the reception of the discussed topics by people with disabilities.
