Photosensitive

The film tells the story of Wojciech Migacz, a self-taught photographer who, at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, documented the life of Gostwica, a village near Nowy Sącz, as well as important political, church and state celebrations in Nowy Sącz with a self-made camera. Currently, his glass films and photographs, the largest collection of which is held by the District Museum in Nowy Sącz, are an invaluable source of knowledge about the Nowy Sącz village from that period. Migacz was also a farmer, woodcarver, social and political activist, philanthropist, founder of a village theater, reading room and credit unions. He also founded a reading room and the Volunteer Fire Department, which he sponsored and was its commander. The film "Światłoczuły" is a story about an extraordinary man and his numerous talents.
