We invite you to the Galician Town, where in the Paszyńska Gallery we present an exhibition of art works that is a summary of the competition called "Sadecki landscape - landscape of changes and development"

Faculty of Social Sciences and Art - Department of Artistic Education and Visual Arts of the Academy of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz and partners: District Museum in Nowy Sącz and Primary School. Jana Pawła II in Podolia-Górowa invite you to participate in the Art Competition "Sadecki Landscape" every year. It is held under the auspices of the Rector of ANS in Nowy Sącz, dr. hab. Eng. Mariusz Cygnar, prof. ANS and the Director of the District Museum in Nowy Sącz, dr. Robert Ślusarek.

In the thirteenth edition of the Competition, 256 works from 35 educational institutions were submitted.

- Our competition, which has been expanding its range from edition to edition, is an artistic celebration for children and youth with special educational needs. The exhibition and the accompanying vernissage together with the awarding of prizes and diplomas is the crowning achievement. This time we proposed to show the changes in our Nowy Sącz landscape, hence the second part of the title "Landscape of Change and Development" - said dr hab. Iwona Bugajska, prof. ANS, originator of the competition.

Apart from the participants of the competition, their guardians and teachers, the guests of the Monday (June 12) vernissage were: Dr. Marek Reichel - Vice-Rector for Science and Development, Bogusława Gaweł - Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Art, curator of the District Museum in Nowy Sącz Anna Florek and Anna Firlej - principal of the primary school John Paul II in Podole-Górowa.
