Promotion of the publishing house "Lost, Saved"
On November 30, 2023, a promotion of the publishing house "Lost, Ocalone" for the exhibition of the same name, previously presented in the Gothic House, took place in the Main Building. The guests read the publication and listened to short lectures by the authors of the texts. In addition to a historical outline of the Nowy Sącz museology, the publication contains estimates of the losses in collections that the museum suffered during the German occupation. We are talking about artifacts that were destroyed in the explosion of the castle where the museum was located, those stolen by the Germans and those that were kept by private people and have not returned to the collection.
