April 26 - Day of National Mourning

Based on the recommendations issued by the President of the Republic of Poland – Mr.
Andrzej Duda, the Board of the Małopolska Province has decided to suspend
all cultural events planned for April 26, 2025. The national mourning announced for this day is an expression of respect for the achievements and legacy of Pope Francis –
an outstanding spiritual leader who had a great influence on the lives of millions
of believers around the world. The Małopolska Province stands in solidarity with all
those grieving after his passing.
