The film is a documentary presenting the idea behind the creation and development of the Sądecki Ethnographic Park, which celebrates its 50th birthday this year. The largest open-air museum in Małopolska and one of the largest in the country is told by its creators and first employees - ethnographers and architects. Where and how the buildings were acquired, what they were equipped with, how the greenery surrounding the cottages and farmsteads was composed - these are just some of the questions that the viewer will find answers to in this film. You can also learn about the process of dismantling old wooden buildings, their conservation and reassembly in the open-air museum. The rich material also includes memories of a real village, which over the years lost its folk character, and whose depository is the Sądecki Ethnographic Park.
