Recruitment for a vacant job position - Assistant Professor in the Art Department

MUSEUM OF SĄCZ LACH ANNOUNCES RECRUITMENT FOR A FREE JOB POSITION OF Assistant Professor in the Art Department
1. Necessary requirements:

1) Master's degree in art history

2) High personal culture, great commitment to work, independence in performing tasks, self-discipline; high availability

3) Good organization and ability to work under time pressure.

4) Ability to work in a team and coordinate specific activities within ongoing projects.



2. Additional requirements:

1) Knowledge of art history with particular emphasis on Polish art,

2) Knowledge of the Polish art market,

3) Ability to prepare inventory descriptions and date exhibits,

4) Knowledge of English or German at least at intermediate level,

5) Communication skills

3. Scope of tasks performed in the position:

1) Collecting monuments of material culture intended for the "Galician Town"

2) Scientific development of the collections intended for the "Galician Town" and keeping their records (preparing scientific catalog cards)

3) Substantive supervision of exhibitions in the "Galician Town"

4) Running a warehouse of art collections in the "Galician Town"

5) Maintaining an inventory of museum objects and auxiliary materials of the "Galician Town"

6) Collecting objects from the area of ​​the museum's statutory activities

7) Conducting scientific and research work independently and together with other employees within the museum's statutory activities

8) Substantive preparation and organization of thematic exhibitions

9) Conducting museum lessons



4. Required documents:

1) cover letter and CV,

2) personal questionnaire, according to the template for a person applying for employment,

3) photocopies of employment certificates (if any) or the candidate's declaration in the case of an ongoing employment relationship,

4) the candidate's declaration of no health contraindications to the position held,

5) photocopies of documents confirming education and professional qualifications,

6) other documents about your qualifications and skills

7) Declaration of the candidate that he has not been convicted of crimes specified in Chapter XIX and XXV of the Penal Code, Art. 189a and 207 of the Penal Code and in the Act of July 29, 2005. on counteracting drug addiction, or for prohibited acts corresponding to these crimes specified in the provisions of foreign law. Before concluding an employment contract, a candidate selected through recruitment is obliged to submit information in the above-mentioned scope from the National Criminal Register (certificate of no criminal record).
